Parish Fair and Flea Market

Parish Fair and Flea Market

The Parish Fair

June 10 - 15
6:00 - 10:00 PM

Save the dates and take part in the spring parish fair. Once again it will be held at the former Saint Anne School site. There will be rides, food and fellowship.

Volunteer Areas

Volunteers to help with all the various booths and activities that take place during our annual fair are also needed. No specific skills are necessary, simply your time and hard work, to make our fair a success once again in 2024. We have updated the way we start-up and close down the fair each evening which should require less time for volunteers each night. Mentioned below are just a few of the activities that volunteers usually help with. Please call Flo Kelly at (412) 818 - 3169  if you feel you can give your time in any of the following areas: Games & other booths, Food stands (such as Doughnuts, Funnel Cakes, etc), Bingo room, Flea Market, Ticket Sales...

Saint Paul of the Cross - Fair Setup / Take down

Setup dates: Tuesday, June 4th - Sunday, June 9th
Takedown date: June 16th

The Fair committee is looking for help prior to and following the actual week of the fair. For the weekdays of the 4th through the 7th the start time for the setup work is 6:00 PM until around 8:30 PM. For Saturday and Sunday June 8th and 9th, we start around 9:00 AM and usually finish at 4:00 PM or earlier. Any and all help would be extremely appreciated with this work. [No specific skills needed.]
We also need a lot of help on the day after the fair, June 16th. On this day we usually get started by 8:30 AM and work until everything is taken down and stored away. The more help we get, even for a few hours, the faster the takedown can proceed. Please call Dan Schneider at (412) 523 - 3480 if you can help.

Flea Market Information

There will also be a flea market again this year. The truck for donations will be parked behind the church beginning May 3rd. Please set aside your unwanted treasures and donations. Those items, usable and in good shape, can be dropped off to the trailer from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. The trailer will be parked in the Saint Anne church lot behind the convent.

*We ask that jewelry be brought to the Parish Office so that it can be sorted and priced ahead of time.

We CANNOT ACCEPT

  • medical equipment
  • computers or televisions
