Don enters his third year at Saint Paul of the Cross Parish as Director of Adult Formation/Safe Environment Coordinator. He spent 16 years as the Director of Religious Education and Safe Environment Coordinator at Our Lady of Grace Parish in the South Hills, taught 9th & 10th grade theology at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School, and taught 11th grade Morality at Seton LaSalle High School during the Spring '21 semester. Prior to his time at OLG, Don taught 7th & 8th grade history and religion at the Catholic Academy of West Buffalo in the Diocese of Buffalo and spent six years as a college baseball coach at The Catholic University of America, the University of Maryland, Georgetown University, and Niagara University.
A native of the Washington D.C. area, he holds an M.S. in Secondary Education from Niagara University and has completed 17 classes towards an M.A. in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Don resides in the North Hills with his wife and six children and is a parishioner at St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church on the North Side.
